Before the service can begin the property must be vacated. Once our certified technician has fogged the contaminated area with an approved anti-microbial disinfectant, the area will need to remain closed for an hour or so. Once it is safe to enter the premises, our cleaners will then wipe all items. Depending on which chemical is used, wiping post fogging isn’t always necessary but is generally preferred by clients, even though it is not harmful to humans. The chemicals in the mist during fogging are dispersed in the form of very small droplets, which can penetrate even the tiniest cracks and crevices. Fogging is safe to use on electrical equipment, such as keyboards and monitors but sometimes covering very sensitive electronic equipment may be recommended.
After the fogging service has been completed, the workplace can be entered by our specialised cleaners who will wipe down items such as high touch items, surfaces, (including workstations), tables, desktops, kitchen surfaces and toilets from the chemical residue.
A 2-in-1 deep clean can also be carried out with a detergent and an approved TGA chloride to kill the virus where fogging is not completed or even as a precautionary disinfecting clean that can be incorporated into your regular cleaning schedule.
Furthermore, coronavirus disinfection is a service that removes 99.99% of germs from all surfaces, however, if you have sick people in your house or business, it will not be able to prevent the sickness from spreading.
It is in our hands to try and prevent Covid-19 or any other viruses from spreading by implementing a sound cleaning routine which will create a healthier environment for us all, whether at your workplace or at home.
